Permanent Bonding of Spandex and Wafer Microfiber Fabrics

Lamination of Spandex and Wafer Microfiber Fabric

One of the services we provide here at FabricBack is called Layer Bonding. This process creates a permanent bond or lamination between two or more layers of material. This is usually done so that the finished piece will have the combined properties of each of the individual layers.

We get to see a lot of interesting projects come through our doors, and today was no exception. We received a number of pieces of wafer microfiber fabric and spandex from a designer in Idaho, Chase Hastings. We were asked to engineer the perfect solution for adhering these two fabrics together in a permanent bond that would stand up to getting wet and being run through an automated washing machine repeatedly.

Our team was able to accomplish the goal, and make our customer very happy. We are excited to see what kind of finished items will be made out of this new lamination of materials!

We would be happy to help you with your layer bonding needs, or any other fabric finish or service that you may need. We have been doing this for a very long time and we've learned a thing or two along the way. Give us your most difficult projects and let us show you what it's like to work with experienced professionals!
